How we calculate each score
Every rating is a weighted average across five categories. Here's exactly how the math works.

| Ease of use | 20% | How quickly a new user can get value: onboarding, interface clarity and learning curve. |
| Pricing & value | 20% | Whether the cost is justified by the features, including fees, spreads and hidden charges. |
| Security & regulation | 15% | Regulatory status, how funds are held, and the platform's overall trustworthiness. |
| Support & reliability | 15% | Customer support quality, uptime, transparency and how the company treats its users. |
How we make money
Site Trust is reader-supported. When you sign up for a platform through one of our links, we may earn an affiliate commission, at no extra cost to you. That revenue funds our research and keeps the site free.
Crucially, commissions never influence our scores. We review and rate every platform against the same methodology before any commercial relationship is considered. A bad platform cannot buy a good review from us.
